Great food and drinks. Still wanting to make it in for the walleye dinner on Fridays. The last time I tried to order the walleye, some parade was about to start in town. Returning later that evening for a "quick six," they serve up awesome Tanqueray and Tonics!!! The burgers are the best in town!!! Don't let anyone start up a conversation with you about drugs or your drug use. It appears that the Huron Undercover Narcotics Team (H.U.N.T.) works the local bars trying to make sales/arrests. They want to ruin your evening for any unsuspecting patron just wanting to have a good time and be left alone. They are very aggressive. They negatively impact the local economy by desperately making arrests to keep the H.U.N.T. unit fully funded. While heavily competing with the town's small businesses for the limited availability of cash flow in the local economy.

EXCELLENT EXCELLENT EXCELLENT!!! My daughter (7) and I, were up north visiting family, and Player's Pub was recommended. The staff was freaking amazing!!! The food was top-notch, and may I mention that pretty much all of it is made from scratch!!! Ben Young, one of the owners, was so kind, and it was a pleasure listening and talking with him. Thank you to everyone who makes the dream work!!!

Came in to live music and an attentive, cheerful waiter, and I found out this is the place in Alpena for boneless wings. Juicy, perfectly crunchy, great sauce (I got buffalo and spicy honey garlic)
